Having had a knee replacement 2 1/2 months ago, I knew I wanted something to get me going again. This is the one. Walking and swimming I enjoy but I have never exercised to a tape before or for that matter, exercised in any formal way. Fresh Start makes me feel great. I look forward to doing this 35 min tape everyday. From the beginning I have been able to do it easily. And I can make it harder by really throwing myself into it if I feel like it. Dian is clear in her instruction and not too fast, just right. Also, she is not relentlessly cheerful. Just pleasant! I clunk and creak in my joints still while doing these routines, but there’s no pain it’s just residual inactivity and arthritis. It’s really wonderful stretching my limbs gently. I can turn my head way to the sides now. I couldn’t, 2 weeks ago. Get this tape if you are stiff and need help with stretching and balance. You need 2 lb hand weights for one section in the tape and there is no up and down floor work. Lovely.

It seemed so easy the first time. But on the third day, I really felt it! No jumping around, in fact a lot is done from your chair. Warm-up, strength building and cool-down are all incorporated into thirty minutes. Highly recommended.

I am only 40 years old but I am currently disabled. This video has very low impact aerobic activity & lots of chair activities. It works for aerobics, flexibility & strength. I have a serious foot problem but was able to do this video. If you cant stand at all, I would not recommend this video. Most of the activity is done sitting in a chair or using a chair for balance/support. there is some light walking/marching in place. You can truly work at your own pace. I liked the trainer. She is just perky enough, not annoying & gives good instruction. If you are new to fitness, watch the video through once before starting. some of her cues are not shown by her immediately. I feel like I am working out considering my severe fatigue & other problems. I like this video & recommend it to people who are overwhelmed by fitness. Old or young, if you have some limitations, this is for you. good luck.

I exercise at least 5 days a week to this video and yet I don’t get bored with it. Part of the reason for my non-boredom is that I look at one of the participants in the video and tell myself that I want my body to look as good as hers. What an incentive that is! I walked into a party a couple of nights ago and three people commented about the way I look. So I told them, “start to exercise with Dian!” I also use an old Richard Simmons exercise video which I like, though at age 69 I cannot keep up with Richard as well as I used to. So Ageless Fitness came into my life at the right time. Fresh Start is great. It took awhile for me to master some of the steps, but I have no difficulty now. I enjoy the workout, it’s varied and fun. Dian’s instructions are good, easy to follow. I especially like the fact that the workout can be done at one’s own pace.
